Sosten Mpinganjira is a multifaceted media and communications professional with a strong background in web design, management, and social media strategy. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Cultural Studies, specializing in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Malawi, Sosten combines his expertise in media with advanced technical skills to drive impactful initiatives.

Sosten's journey in media began at Chanco Community Radio, where he produced compelling programs focused on agriculture and environmental issues. His commitment to effective storytelling led him to Maziko Radio Station, where he served as a news reporter, specializing in environmental journalism. Throughout his career, Sosten has demonstrated a keen ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences, both through traditional broadcasting and digital platforms.

In addition to his roles in broadcasting, Sosten is a proficient web designer and manager, adept at creating engaging online experiences that drive user engagement and promote organizational goals. His extensive skills in web design have enabled him to develop and maintain dynamic websites that effectively convey information and facilitate interaction.

Furthermore, Sosten is highly skilled in social media 

management, leveraging platforms to amplify messaging, engage with audiences, and foster community dialogue. His strategic approach to social media has contributed to increased visibility and impact for organizations and causes he supports.

He joined CISONECC in 2021 as a Communications Intern, where he showcased his talent and commitment to the organization's mission and goals. Over the years, Sosten's work ethic and eagerness to learn have propelled him through various roles within CISONECC, including Office Assistant, Assistant Programme Officer, Programme Officer, and Assistant Communications Officer.

Sosten has continuously expanded his knowledge and expertise in project management, particularly in the context of climate change and disaster risk management. His adeptness at navigating both national and international policies and frameworks related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as energy sustainability, has been instrumental in advancing CISONECC's initiatives.

With a steadfast dedication to creating a more resilient and sustainable future, Sosten Mpinganjira remains committed to leveraging his skills and expertise to contribute meaningfully to CISONECC's mission and the broader environmental conservation efforts.
