Lumbani K. Nyangulu is the Finance Officer for Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CISONECC). Prior to joining CISONECC, he served as a Finance and Administrative Assistant and Finance Assistant at Development Fund for Local Authorities (DFLA) and Sunseed Oil Company Ltd respectively.
At the aforementioned organizations, he registered progressive professional experience in managing different projects with funding from different donors such as Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA), EU, Irish Aid, Commonwealth Foundation, Scottish Government through SCIAF, CARE Germany and Denmark and sub-grants from Oxfam America through Oxfam Malawi, Christian Aid and Pan
African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA). He coordinated very well with other departments on debt collection mechanism from Local authority councils, budgeting, financial reporting, and effective and efficient management of funds at all previous positions he held. He has also done an incredible achievement in clean audit and the implementation of auditors’ recommendations on weak accounting and internal control systems, grants management, payroll administration, management of organizations’ assets, and maintaining a good relationship with staff across all departments.
Nyangulu is a Diplomate Accountant studied at Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance at Pentecostal Life University (PLU).
